Well, we literally just finished our stop at UMASS Amherst. Videos are uploaded, new pics have been posted, and we're getting all set for Purdue next week. All in all things went really well. Indy Racing League joined as at this stop so that was a nice addition to our tour as well. Today was Emily's birthday so we celebrated her big 23rd with cake and cookies (Thanks, Christina) and she received some nice gifts.
I got my first chance to drive the big JVC box truck today so that was pretty exciting, too. I now understand why Gary is in such a good mood after driving because all kinds of people wave and such Well, that's all for now, folks. We're off to celebrate Emily's birthday a little more and then will be on the road for a couple days driving towards Indiana. Wish us safe travels...
It's definitely time for an update! We last left you at NC State and we've been incredibly busy since then. We activated our tour at Duke last Thursday and Friday and had a wonderful time. The campus was incredibly beautiful and the Cathedral was like nothing we've ever seen before! The west campus was full of beautiful architecture and the students were very friendly. We had a great time in North Carolina, but were definitely ready to head North toward some cooler temperatures.
Our next stop was in Washington, D.C. where I started the trip by painfully watching the Tennessee vs. Florida football game. But, on to better subjects, the nation's capitol was so cool. DC seriously just has a great aura about it. The history and cultures present make it such an interesting place to visit. We visited George Washington University on Monday and Tuesday and were set up in the Quad. It was a lot different than our previous stops because of the urban environment. It was tricky parking the trucks in such a fast paced city, but we managed and had a great time while we were there.
Currently we are set up at UMASS. Wow...this morning when we were setting up it was 40 degrees...Now it's pushing 85. Welcome to New England in the fall. It's a beautiful campus with old buildings and a nice diverse crowd. We are enjoying our time here and will be back soon with an update on how things are going.
Hey y'all it's Ross on the road with PopSci. We're currently set up at N.C. State in Raleigh, NC and let me just say this school is pretty amazing. We had a huge first day with the students out in the Brickyard and are looking forward to a big day 2.
This weekend we did a lot of hanging out and watched quite a bit of football (how 'bout them Vols!). We get a chance to relax tomorrow on our day off then we'll be set up at Duke later this week. It's been busy since we left Atlanta but we're still trucking and looking forward to making our way North towards a little cooler weather. Keep checking back often and if you're near our stops then definitely come out and see us. Until then...be good, do well, and keep in touch.
Hey!! It's Emily here. Im here with Ross as we drive out of ATL. We are on 85North so we decided to blog everyone as we work our way to Raleigh, NC!! The second day at GTech was just as eventful as the first and we are sad to leave, but super excited to finally be on the road! Georgia Tech students you were great to come out. We really enjoyed meeting all of you and keep checking in to see our new footage and comments from the other schools! Thanks GTech!! You were AWESOME!!
Hey guys! Today was so amazing!!! The first day was what I had expected and so much more. We were so happy with the turn out, and support from all the GTech students. Not only did we get some great JVC homevideos and handout some cool stuff, but Ross and I had the best time just talking and laughing with all the great people we met! We are returning to GTech for another full day tomorrow and I trust it will be just as much fun! If you missed us today I hope you'll come out tomorrow. Hey, even if you already came out, come again tomorrow! We loved getting to know everyone. Well, that's all for now!! Talk to ya soon!

Hey Guys!
It's Emily & Ross here down in the ATL training for the PopSci tour and getting everything ready to head out on the road. We have some really cool stuff in the works and we're getting excited about coming to your school.
Definitely check out the rest of the website in preparation for the tour and make sure you take part in the "Pimp My Dorm" contest. You have the chance to win a $5,000 room makeover from JVC! All you have to do is upload a video describing why you deserve the dorm makeover. But, don't worry if you don't have a video camera because we'll have a tent set up where you can record your video on site.
There's also a chance at every stop on the tour to win a JVC surround sound system, headphones, and a WowWee dragonfly! We have tons of free stuff to give away, a Nintendo Wii you can challenge a friend on, and computers set up you can check out!
Imagine a glass dorm room built on the back of a box truck tricked out with the latest and greatest technology...We have it! Come spend some time in the Dorm Room of the Future! We'll be bringing it to every stop and the doors will be open for your enjoyment.
You can see we have a lot of great things on our tour and we can't wait to let you start enjoying it. So definitely come see us and hang out a little while when we're in your town.
